Build your own brick sorter compatible with LEGO® brand bricks using your laser cutter or CNC machine. These plans are for an 11" sorter with five trays of varying hole sizes.
Each tray nests into the next. Align the trays with holes from biggest to smallest and dump your bricks into the top tray. Agitate the sorter and the bricks will fall into lower trays according to size. Once the bricks are sorted by size, its much easier to then sort them manually by type or color.
These plans are designed for laser cutting and optimized for Glowforge and other lasers with smaller beds. The largest piece you need to cut is only 10.75" x 10.75".
Material Required: 9 sq. ft. 1/8" Baltic Birch or similar plywood.
